It is now term 3 and Aroha 6 is back into it again having fun learning alongside each other.
Some of our highlight this week was participating in activities in health and physical education. Delivered by the awesome coaches Eric and Kelly from the Counties Manukau Sport Fundamental Movement skills team...
The focus this week was based on balancing on one foot, using your fine and gross motor skills to help develop resilience and a sense of personal and social responsibility along with contributing to your peers. Aroha 6 clearly demonstrated that, we all enjoyed playing a lot of fun games such as getting into two teams and taking turns on who can flip the cones over the fastest followed by hopping on one foot and playing the hand game similar to rock paper scissors while trying to jump on the round coloured spots all the way to the other side.
" Ka rawe to mahi Tamariki ma!"
Well done Kiran for receiving our PRIDE Participation award at our school assembly.
Keep it up !
