Aroha 6: It is Disco Fever Time!

Thank you Aroha 6 whanau for supporting our Rowandale School Disco!

Thank you for your golden coin donation and buying our delicious drinks and simply scrumptious popcorn. 

We sure had fun dressed up in our party clothes with our friends and lining up to get our face painted along with wearing glow in the dark arm bands while grooving to the funky music.   

In result of all this successful event Rowandale school fundraised $1104.30c

Aroha 6: Sneak peek of Aroha 6 's learning journey! Wahoo!!

Kia ora koutou, Talofa lava Aroha 6 family and friends,  this term we have had so much fun exploring new things such as learning the importance of celebrating Matariki, the Māori New year and the reason behind it.   This was demonstrated across the curriculum areas such as reading, writing and mathematics.  We just couldn't get enough from reading the big book Matariki breakfast,  along with learning the names of the nine stars and creating our very own Matariki star using ice block sticks and blue tack... Wahoo!!!

Thank you Aroha 8 for hosting our last team assembly for term 2.  We had so much fun singing and busting out our jump jamming moves.
